The Media Services Division of Earthlightmedia is comprised of a team of progressive Media Technologist. This division provides professional Media Services to small and medium-sized corporations, non-profit organizations, and community-based associations. Earthlightmedia offers Special Rates to community-based organizations whose mission is to inspire a more humanitarian society. Earthlight Media’s role is to guide our clients though the digital maze of the 21st century by providing New Media tools and technology that successfully integrate New Media concepts in conjunction with the Internet.
One of the Company’s proudest accomplishments is the DVD Series for Churches Supporting Churches, produced on location in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The Media Arts Division of the Company focuses on developing entertainment and educational projects. This division was launched in 2005 with the production of the groundbreaking documentary film project titled A Place Called Home: The Great Migration Of The 21st Century. Two years in the making with CEO Naimah Fuller at the helm as producer, writer, director, and cinematographer, and features appearances from Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman, Danny Glover, Andrew Young, Dr. Maya Angelou, and jazz musician and composer Terence Blanchard. The project was selected in the Semi-finalist category in the National Black Programming Consortium 2006 Open Call, and was featured as a Work-In-Progress at the 2006-2007 Harlem Stage Film Festival in New York City. Currently in the first phase of post-production, the producers are working toward a 2009 release. A book project of the same title is also in the queue. Other projects from the Media Arts Division include the development of two original screenplays; The American an action/drama to be shot on location in Africa, and a Hip Hop comedy titled Woman In A Shoe.
